I have a danby ddw399w and when dishwasher fills with water for wash cycle, sometimes fails to register that it is full so the water keeps coming and pours out onto the floor. Is there a part or switch that may be bad that registers when the water is full?
Hi, There is a water level switch in the d/w. located in front corner. You can move it up and down while listening for a clicking noise. Sometimes soap will gum them up so they don't move. when it is overflowing, will the water shut off if you turn the machine off or do you need to turn the water off at the faucet?
Please let me know so that I can assist you further.
Thanks

yes, if i turn the dishwasheroff or open it, it stops the water. To fix I opened and restated and unhooked and re hooked water supply and it corrected itself.
