I think your problem is coming.from the tv screen, I suppose your talking about double image, pls get another screen and change it

Bad memory or bad buffers for the screen. Unfortunately, this is not cost effective to fix.

The cheaper option is to buy a new LCD tv than getting the dinosaur fixed, if you can even find someone who'll fix it.

you have answered your own question: you have a loose plug or other connection somewhere in the set--not a do it yourself repair and if LG I would call them to see if this is a known issue in this model.

It could be any of 4 boards, either take it in for service or get a new set.

The PDP (plasma) panel has gone bad and need to be replaced. This is not a user serviceable part and cost about 1/3 of buying a new unit plus the cost of labor for a two-man job. I would hope that this unit was purchased less than 1 year as warranty for parts and labor is 1 year. If not I do hope you purchased an extended warranty or paid it with a MasterCard (some MC card provider extends the warranty by another year). Cost of repair for flat screen TVs are high so it really a wise investment to purchase extended warranty. Fixya offers extended warranty on your future electronics purchase. Hope this helps.
