Replacing shocks on front load washer

not sure why he would replace the shocks this is clearly a timer/control issue. Replace the main control

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

2. Level the machine
   
3. Inspect the water pump for a blockage
   
4. Inspect the coupling
   
5. Inspect the transmission
   
6. Adjust the drive belt tension
   
7. Check the motor bearings
   
8. Check the drum brakes

Any panel un-screwable in front or back, a set of spanners for the shocks. Plug off.

It's been designed to fail so that you buy an expensive part. 

you shloud replace the shocks, i believe they're are updated part number 8182703

you may have a dampening shock that is bad

no special tools are required. also remove the top of washer and check the 2 springs that are holding from above,as faar as acessing the should have a removable back panel, sometimes an opening on bottom of machine

Un plug washer remove belt by lossing the tensioner , bring to appliances center and assemble again /
