My samsung dlp hlr5067w will be working and then all of a sudden will just go black. The sound still works but the picture is black and no lights come on the power button ie..timer/stanby or power. Ive already replaced the color wheel and lamp which were both covered under supplemental warranty.

Power issues (Tv not turning on) were typically due to faulty ballast. While the TV reports a bad lamp it is the ballast itself causing the issue. Samsung is well aware and will replace both the ballast and the lamp (since the lamp can be prematurely aged but the bad ballast). After replacment most people stop having issues.

Check your color wheel. There is a DIY guide for replacing the color wheel. Mine did the same thing yours is and my color wheel was all busted up. Unfortunately after replacing the color wheel my set continues to do the same thing, but this could mean I need to replace the ballast as well.
