is the toner 3rd party or OEM. Replace with OEM cartridge. Well the toner is not the drum you bought a drum it needs toner. ????

Have the developer and drum replaced. Ensure tech clears the counters first before installing parts, and run required post checks while in the drum cart clean the sensors and remove old toner and developer. Your code is dealing with the drum and developer. Developer is replaced 250,000 copies, drum 250,000.

You can't rotate the toner cartridges manually without potentially damaging the printer. To get the cartridges to rotate, close the door and go through the following sequence:

- Press Menu Select to get to the main menu
- Go to the Print Menu
- Go to the Quality Menu
- Select Replace Toner
- Use the arrows to select Black
- When the display says "Black" press Menu Select
- Press it again, the display should read "Open door and replace black toner"

Now the black toner should be positioned to be replaced, and you should be good to go!

Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.

just open cover turn the toner rack if needed and replace the toner.
in right there is a black button, what is pushed down with the cover, you can push it down with pen or something, then the rack rotates easy. be sure to turn off the printer first

A couple of suggestions. 1. make sure there is not any plastic shipping tabs that need to be removed from the cartridge. 2. try reseating the cartridge. 3. Try replacing that cyan cartridge. It may be defective. Also make sure you use Minolta brand toners!
