• Controller board defective
• Controller board installed incorrectly
• Operation panel harness connection loose or incorrect

Incorrect Graphic Card Driver,
Incorrect (or 'out of range' ) screen resolution
Incorrect (or 'out of range') refresh rate.

Boot to shell prompt.

run xconfig

reboot.

That may or may not help.

make sure you are using a product key for the operating system you are installing... it is written on the label.
