I can only offer a user manual to the device. The next to last page of the manual lists contact information by country. You might see if you can get the answer from a listed source.

A prior Fixya answer offers the following:

A reading of 221 ppm carbon monoxide gas is a dangerous level that should be taken seriously. You could try a new battery and reset the detector.

My detector could not be switched on

Keep the power button pressed for about 3 seconds until it turns on (the middle button). If it doesn't then charge it.

The detector is going off and reading err. message

There have continual problems with this unit. It may be that you have it mounted or plugged-in in the wrong place. As a co detector it should not be mounted in the same room as the gas appliance or wood burning stove. In addition, as a co/gas detector it should NEVER be mounted on the ceiling. A co/gas detector should always be mounted or plugged-in to a wall receptacle that is at least, but not more than 2 feet off the floor and not in the same room as the gas appliance. It will false alarm and give error messages when in fact nothing is wrong. If the problem continues, return it to the place of purchase for a new one.

Nighthawk model kn-cop-dp, when plugged in i get an error code

I have the same problem....The answer is the detector has died. This kind of detector has a warranty for 5 years. Mine was assembled 8 years ago and just died this morning. 8 years is good for this kind of detector. The protection device inside wears out in time. Thats why you keep getting an err message.
