Have a Haier 18-bottle wine cooler. In 3 occasions since I bought it I'v needed to unplug it. Every single time I plug it back it will not work. 1rst & 2nd time, fans stopped working, they sounded like.. "stuck". This 3rd last time fans are plain dead. And the inner light blinks "ready to die" too. Previous fixes have been cheap, but its frustrating: is it a common problem these coollers will just break down if unppluged?

I don't know. It might just be really old? If you bought it like in 2000-2005, it might just be old. You probebly just need to get a new one. Don't feel bad. :3

SOURCE: I have a Haier 18

No, i don't believe u are. these small fridge will run longer during the day as they have limited cooling capacity and the heat load is higher during the day. there could also be a problem with the cooling system and if there is one, the problem will become more noticeable and it will stop cooling. otherwise, i would leave it as is

SOURCE: My Haier 12 wine bottle cooler is dead. No fan or cooling .

Check the 2 fuses, one covered with black heat shrink, next see if internal fan is spinning, inside door, the 2 fans on the back should spin when first plugged in. also the 2 led's red and green should light up...if internal fan doesn't spin then check or replace, use batteries to get it to spin as a test...good luck, safety first...

Wine fridge is always running but never cools below room temperature.

the processor cooling fans for the CPU and case fans are 3 PINS.. you can use them but remember that these are 12V fans. once its the same power it will work. Ps if needed you can cut the connects from your old fan and connect it to the new ones to get it to fit properly..

I need the Haier 18 bottle wine cooler instruction manual.

Hi There,
I was able to find two 18 bottle wine coolers on the Haier site.

The first is model number HVTM18DABB
http://www.haieramerica.com/wine-beer-beverage/wine-cellars/hvtm18dabb

The second is model number HVTSM18DABB
http://www.haieramerica.com/wine-beer-beverage/wine-cellars/hvtsm18dabb

On either product page the manual can be downloaded from the "product support & downloads" tab

Have a great day!

Haier wine cooler, how to operate? No manual.

If you just want to use the factory settings then push the red or white button depending on what you store the most.
Or you can set it yourself by pushing the red and white buttons together for about 3 seconds- the temp display will start flashing-then use the red and white buttons to set the desired temp-then push the set button
