Error code 3c10 - Konica Minolta magicolor 1690MF All-In-One Laser Printer

You hit a serious code, noting can be done, this code requires a tech to come out and remove a chip inside the machine, which is then sent to Konica Minolta, then on to the US SECRET SERVICE since someone attempted to counter fit US currency!!!!!!!!!!!, until the US Secret Service determines what was done the machine stays inoperative , once what happen is determined tech will come out reinstall the chip reload firmware, and .NEVER EVER PLACE ANY CURRENCY ON A COPIER all the machine now a day have Bank Note chips.

error 3c10 EEPROM data error turn off power and remove power cord from wall wait about 10 minuts and reset power cord and turn on power if clear error code then ok and enjoy.
if not need to reprogram eeprom.

The ink absorber is supposed to be full. If you can find it, you could try to clean it by pressing paper towels there. Be aware the ink is mean. You can't wash it from your hands let alone from clothing.
Wear rubber gloves and have a bin close by.
After you cleaned the printer, pull out the power cord for a minute or so and then reconnect an switch on.

SOME attempted COUNTERFITTING There is nothing that can be done, Get a tech out who will remove a chip the chip will be sent to Konica Minolta and then to the US SECERT SERVICE for determining what was done. until then machine will remain inop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 1690mf and changed cartridges, the 3c10 call engineer appears after printing, paper jammed. Had call out from service engineer, afraid he's at a loss too, says it is a security issue but no instructions on how to repair, waiting now to hear from Konica theselves as to what is the answer, I can still print, just have to take the paper out and switch on an off when it stops, annoying though
