Can i put a bugaboo frog carrycot on a gecko frame? I have a gecko frame which i bought with the seat but not the carrycot, i have since bought a frog carrycot bacause i was told it would fir the frame but it doesn't seem to sit right. Thanks

Not many Geckos in NZ and I've not worked on one but hoods are just held in place by canopy wires that insert into a clip on canopy holder. www.babycare.nl/spare-parts-bugaboo-cameleon-c-34_124_153.html shows the wires are the same for the Frog and Gecko so you should be fine,

No the Gecko is a different size to the frog or cameleon, but you can ask any questions on bugaboos ask for Fred @ www.buggypitstop.co.uk they have all the answers and are very helpful

This should only happen when the seat/carrycot frame has not been put on. If this happens when the seat is on, then I would suggest that this is returned for a repair (www.bugaboo.com) as this could be dangerous.

HIYA.... IVE HAD ALOT OF BUGGIES AND PRAMS... IVE ALSO MADE MANY BUGABOOS UP, JUST BY USING USED PARTS AND PIECING THEM TOGETHER.

ALL COMPONENTS FROG, CAMELEON AND GECKO FIT ONTO 1 AND ANOTHER. YOU COULD BUY A FROG SEAT FABRIC TRY EBAY FOR THE CHEAPER OPTION, THIS IS EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE. THE CAMELEON 1 WOULD ALSO FIT, AS IVE HAD A CAMELEON COVER ON A FROG SEAT FRAME AND IT FITTED JUST AS GOOD :)

It sounds like you need a Canopy Clamp. This part enables you to connect the canopy to the seat frame. You should have a left and right clamp to make this work. These can be purchased from Bugaboo (www.bugaboo.com) for around £5 each.

Before you put click the seat unit on, ensure that both of the upright prongs (black) are pointing directly upwards. Click on the seat, this should then be completely horizontal (ensure that you hear both sides clicking onto the frame) Once the seat is on, then adjust this to the normal/required postition.
