No. The graph of a circle is a graph, one which can have two different values for certain arguments. The graph of the top or bottom half of a circle can be considered a graph of a function.

Press [2nd][PGRM] to open the (DRAW) utility. Scroll down to reach the line 9: Circle( and press ENTER. Complete the command by supplying the coordinates of the circle center and the radius.
Circle(0,0,4) draws a circle with center at the origin (0,0) and radius 4.
By the way the equation of a circle is not a function. You have to cut it into the upper brach and the lower part to graph it.

To draw functions (regular, parametric, polar, sequences) use the application graph: Highloghted on 1st screen capture. The second screen captures shows you the functions y=f(x). enter a legal expression and press F6 Draw. To set TYPE press the key under TYPE.



To draw conics (circles, parabolas, hyperbolas, and ellipses) use the CONiCS applications. (See 3rd screen ). On 4th capture the equation highlight is one for the parabola. y=x^2



Scroll down or up examining the small graphs. They will show you which equation form to choose.
For the circles

Define z=x+iy
Substitute in the equation [x+iy -1-i|=5
|(x-1)+(y-1)i|=5
SQRT ((x-1)^2+(y-1)^2)=5
Raise to the second power (square) (x-1)^2+(y-1)^2=25
This is the equation of a circle of center (1,1) and radius 5

To graph it isolate y as +/- SQRT (25-(x-1)^2)
or use the CONICS application, which you can download from education.ti.com
You can also use the Cabri Jr Geometry application or the Draw menu then the circle(.

Press [2nd][DRAW][1:ClrDraw]. An empty graph screen appears. Press [2nd][QUIT] to return to the main calculator screen.

A circle is not a function and cannot be graphed in the regular y=screen. You can graph a circle in parametric mode.

To graph a circle in the regular y= screen, you have to graph it in 2 lines on the y= screen. I assume you've solved for y and gotten a square root equation. Remember a square root can be positive or negative. In line 1 of y= screen graph what you've been graphing and then graph the same equation in line 2 but with a negative in front of the equation. You'll get something that looks like an oval since the calculator screen is rectanglular. To make it look more circular (both parts aren't going to connect), press zoom and then select #5 (square).

Hello,
Here is one particulat gase where two graphs are executed simultaneously, yet you see one, but bo the other. When graphs are being executed the one for tan(x) is displayed as a bubble that outlines the variation of the tangente. But at the end, it evaporates, leaving only the sine function.

Here is the result.
