For some odd reason I can no longer upload videos from my Kodak EasyShare C813 TO IPhoto or Imovie. I was able to do so once but no more. Iphoto will import them but won't display them saying the files are a unknown format. What can I do and how can I view and edit my videos if I can't event import them into the computer
IMovie is compatible with, like MP4, MOV, M4V, etc.So you need to convert files to iMovie supported formats. You could use Leawo Video Converter.
Kodak videos have now become very popular among users who want to shoot easy and fast videos. And quite a lot of these users are using Mac OS and need to edit Kodak videos in iMovie on their Mac machine. But when they tried to import the Kodak MOV videos to iMovie, iMovie won’t display them but saying the files are unknown formats. How to solve this problem to edit Kodak video into iMovie on Mac?
Introduce an easy-to-use video converter, Kodak Video to iMovie Converter for Mac which can convert Kodak video to other formats supported by iMovie like DV, MP4, M4V, etc.
Kodak series cameras capture videos in MOV files. iMovie will only import codecs that it can edit. iMovie can import MP4, DV, Apple Intermediate Codec, H.264, Photo JPEG, Motion JPEG, Apple Animation, and perhaps others. MOV is a multimedia container file, not a codec. It can contain any of the above codecs, but it could contain other codecs that are not editable by iMovie, such as MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 so that sometimes iMovie cannot recognize Kodak videos directly.
please try this video converter, good luck.
