How to hook up Ice & Water dispenser on freezer door

We have lost the manual for our side by side Moffat fridge model # mrsc20kwxfwh and have moved it. We are now trying to re-hook up the ice & water dispenser but are not sure how to hook up to the water

How do you turn off the ice maker if the water line is not connected? on the back of the fridge, it says to make sure ice maker is turned off so it doesn't run when water line is not connected. i do not have a manual and cannot find the ice maker off/on switch anywhere!

The water valve is on the back of the refrigerator. The water line connects directly to that valve. If there is no line available then you will need to run one from a cold water line in the plumbing using a drill type (1/4") saddle valve on that pipe. Hope this helps. Please check for the water passage beneath the freezer. There will be a small pipe and there is a possibility that that pipe path is blocked with ice or dirt.

check the door in the dispenser if moisture is condensing and freezing so that the door won't open try manually popping the door open just before you attempt to dispense ice, maybe you'll get lucky, otherwise your going to have to get a technician to come and check the micro-switch for the dispenser

Ice maker & water dispenser won't work
I recently found out that the water supply lines are coiled up inside behind the frige on the refrigerator side moving the unit will cause those coiled up lines to shift to the freezer side of the unit, causing a freeze up,take the cardboard lower back off and move those lines further away from the freezer side of the unit, as one of those coiled up lines are to chill the water for the dispenser and the other is supply for the icemaker, this should fix your problem, becareful not to move them too far away from the freezer side as they are meant to chill the water for the dispenser
