PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Failed T/S corona.
Remove the T/S corona unit. If blank copies can be printed without a service code appearing, replace the T/S corona unit (p/n 57AA R715 00).

2. The HV unit has failed.
Replace the HV unit (p/n 56AA 8401 2).

Check the Cyan Charge Corona housing. Remove it and reseat it. IF not that check the HV board. and or connection at the back of the drum and transfer middle assy.

Directly below the drum is the transfer and separation ration unit. which houses two very, very thin gold plated wires the one on the right is the transfer wire which transfers the image off the drum on to the paper as the paper goes over the wire while the drum place the image on the paper. the second wire is separation wire which has an AC signal on it to prevent the paper from sticking to the drum. The second wire might be broken. Have it replaced best to have booth done at the same time since unit comes out? or the spring at rear of the unit are not making good electrical contacts. Ensure power is off. as they do carry High Voltage during the normal operation.

(Pull out the middle section will see assy with black grids across it under the grids are some very fine wires) the purpose of this unit is twofold. (It houses several very thin gold plated wires) One wire is what helps the transfer of the image from the drum to the paper. Since the paper goes between this wire and the drum, the second wire prevents the paper from sticking to the drum during the transfer process. The code you have been getting means either wires might be broken, or has to be cleaned (because of all the toner on it from the drum assy. which needs to be removed and cleaned. Or The end blocks that hold the wires are getting old and allowing the High Voltage that is applied to the wire during the copy/print process to leak to ground. have a qualified tech look at it.
