Try going to the SanDisk website and download the drivers and run the install from their site. Then you don't need the small CD disc.

My sansa m250 says it's almost full, but it's not!

This is hard to explain but you do have files on your player.. It is like having 2 players in one, or 2 different memories, check out this tip posted here...Solve your MP3 Player Connection Problem.

Files not deleted from m250

Try this solution:

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Sansa m250, can not see the files nor delete them

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the SanDisk website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Putting music on

This player has an MSD/C vs and MTP option - in one mode, you will only see the audible, config, etc- in the other mode, you will be able to see the music files, but not record - very annoying

Sansa m250 doesn't continue playing from the same spot after power up

This player will only recognize Audible audiobook files

There is not a fix for the pause/resume issue - it is a major problem for just about every mp3 player that claims audiobook compatibility

Sansa Player Back-UP

This may or may not help you, but I've connected my Sansa m250 to two computers. One has Windows XP and the other has Windows 2000. And neither can see the other's files. The file structure you describe sounds like what I see on the Windows 2000. For some reason it shows it as a disk - the same as a memory stick. It can't see what was drag and dropped or loaded by Windows Media Player. So I would make sure I used the same computer that was to used to transfer the files.

Okay, I need some help, please

Those are folders that come with the MP3. Create a new folder and start moving music into it.
