A natural number who can only evenly be divided by 1 or by itself. Examples of prime numbers are: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7,11, 13 ,17 etc... The number 6 for example is considered a composite number because it can be divided evenly by 1, 2 ,3, or itself. Happy Math!!!
