Tv proview hv207 problem

Hi i have tv that turn on and the screen put burn in and begin flat in deferen color. what can i do?

DON'T EVER BUY PRO VIEW!!!!! THEY SELL JUNK AND THEN CHARGE A TON TO FIX IT...................

I called customer support and they said it is the receiver. I can't find one and they want $190 to fix this 1 1/2 year old TV. Mine is not digital so I can't receive broadcast in a year so mine is going out in the trash.

No they want sell parts. You can cut your losses or give them them more money. Good luck.

Try to update the firmware of the tv. You can get support form Proview site for latest update. Sometimes an update of firmware will fix the problems

Where is power button located on tv
If it is the flat screen model look at the TV, You will see a blue or orange indicator light on the front of the tv by the speakers. Put your finger over the light and the TV will come on and off. The Volume, Channel and Menu buttons are there also. They are not an actual push in "Button". Just look at the TV close to the Proview insignia. You'll see the On/Off button there!

32inch proview lcd tv has a green square instead of a picture,but i get the sound .?
if you are getting color on the screen, chances are that you might have a cable loose. I'm not sure if you are using component cables but sometimes when the blue cable is loose, it will cause a green screen. or if you are trying to watch something above your TV's capabilities, this will happen as well.

Remote controle ccode HV207t
I think all universal remotes ****. Never found one to work with my TV.
Remotes.com has the remote in stock for the HV207. It should work for your TV. They have pics of it, I bet it looks the same as your old one.

Colored lines on screen
This may be caused by the death of a display driver circuit and these might be integrated with the display itself. 
The pixels on the screen are controlled by an X-Y matrix and the matrix may have signal lines that are somewhat shared for different screen positions.
I doubt that this is DIY project and the failure can only be located by an equipped and trained tech.

Proview 3200 Flatscreen with HDMI Problem
Maybe the input on the tv needs to be adjusted to work with the cable tv for example in the tv menu where you can adjust the sources for the inputs maybe it is set to something like RGB instead of HDMI. If you have a user manual consult it on how to change the input devices. Good luck.
