BLU RAY WONT PLAY ALL DISCS

Your problem is the firmware version. Contact Toshiba Tech Support 1-800-631-3811 they will send you a disk with a firmware update along with special instructions on how to update the unit. I had a similar problem and they send me the firmware version 1.013.

Crazy Heart Blu-Ray will not play in my Samsung BD-P1400

It is possible that the disk you are trying to play is the newer format of Blu Ray. To make sure that you have the correct firmware in your machine you need to contact SAMSUNG SUPPORT who will provide you with a file that you burn to CD/DVD and then run to update the BIOS. Then your unit should play the newer format

Our Sony Blu-Ray BDP-S300 will play older Blu Ray disks but not two newly released blu-Ray disks. It just keeps "Loading" on the screen but never finishes.

Try to update the firmware on the player by going to this website http://www.blu-ray.com/firmware/firmware.php?id=10 the newest version is 5.20 fixes alot of problems including playback issues with some BD movies and safe the file into a flash drive and plug it in on the back USB port, go to menu/firmware update run the update.

When a dvd is put in it says unsupported format

Chek your settings and make sure it is set to NTSC not PAL. Check the DVD to see if it is PAL format. Good Luck.

PC WON'T RECOGNIZE MY OPAL RCA M4208RD-8

I got help from someone on this site that helped me fix my player. What you need to do (or what I did) is delete all of the RCA files from your computer completely. Then download the firmware upgrade from the RCA website (www.rcaaudiovideo.com) Once you finish that download, make sure that the player is not connected to your computer. Begin to press both the "Play" and the volume + buttons at the same time and then plug it into your computer. Then start the firmware updater at the same time; eventually, your computer will see that your player is there and that is basically all that I did.

On my rca pm3 player it is stuck on initializing it will not turn off by pressing the turn off button

I have not tried this yet but RCA support sent me this.

I suggest updating the firmware on your player. After upgrading the firmware on your player, you must use the easy rip software. This will avoid problems in the future and keep the unit updated

1. Go to www.audiovox.com
2. Go to FAQ’s in search enter M4204
3. Download firmware upgrade
4. Hold play/pause button for 15 seconds
5. Hold menu button for 10 seconds
6. Attach M4204 via USB cable while holding play/pause button
7. This should start the firmware upgrade
8. Possible an error message of “cant write to disk” will pop up
9. Firmware upgrade will end with error do not close
10. Go to My Computer find the drive that holds the MP3 player
11. Right click scroll down to format, format the player
12. Run firmware upgrade again

Error Message

This just sounds to me like you have a slight error. You may need to update your firmware/drivers or formatting.

One of those solutions should fix your problem.

To update your firmware you will need to visit your mp3 players manufacture, I have found your firmware all you will need to do is visit this link and download the firmware/drivers -

http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/index.asp

Once your on the website choose your mp3 player ect.. then click download.

If that doesn't do the trick my final solution is to format your mp3 player then update the firmware/drivers.

To format a basic way follow these steps. First click on "Start" - then go to "My Computer" - then look for your mp3 player if the name hasn't been customized it will come under the name of "Removable Disk" - once you've found it right-click on it then click on "Format".

Once you've formatted then do the first solution surgested. which was install the firmware/drivers. Once you've done that upload music back on to your mp3 player then see if the problems be fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solutions were helpful.
