Can I use a baby playpen for a dog?

Technically, you could use a baby playpen but I don'trecommend it. Baby playpens tend to besmall and dogs need to move around a lot. If you don't have a lot of room, I suggest just keeping your dog in astandard crate because they generally cost much less money. Also, dogs love to chew the mesh in babyplaypens and I'm not sure how long it will withstand your dog.

How do you lock an Avalon on the move series playpen? Where do I get instructions?

  • These playpens have a safety feature.
  1. First thing is to make sure the center of the playpen is up in the air.
  2. First lock the short side rails. They will click into place.
  3. Now lift up and lock the long set of rails.
  4. Now you want to push the center piece (floor) down all the way.
  5. Now your playpen is set up.
  6. When you go to put it up you will pull the floor up first and then release the side rails.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

Trying to put together a Foundations playpen but sides will not

The "trick" with the collapsing the foundations playpen is to step on the middle ring while pulling up on the "quick release latch in the middle of the long sides first, then the short sides.
Works every time!

Putting up and taking down of Graco Avalon playpen

If you take the mattress pad out and collapse the base, you can then lock the sides. I was in the same boat as you. Very frustrating. Hope this helps.

Instructions for Avalon ''On the move series'' playpen

I have had this problem with one of my daughter’s playpens. What I did was take the mattress out then pull the bottom part up. After that I pushed the buttons underneath the top rails and pulled up on those as well. For some odd reason this playpen WILL NOT collapse until you pull the bottom up. Hope this helps.
