I have a LG 42" LCD tv model number RZ37LZ55 APLF.
we just loose the picture without warning it could be on for hours or just a few minutes and it takes a varity of time to start working again. if you could help that would be fantastic
Just try to reset so picture will come again, some LCD TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the LCD TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the LCD TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the LCD TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the LCD TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the LCD TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the LCD TV.
Hope it may help you;
Regards;

Hello, If there is a complete darkness on the screen, it is likely that the problem is on the card that responsible for providing backlight to the screen. Known as invertor. Sometimes the causes are: 1 loose contacts across the card. 2 the main ic that is number begins with OZ .3 More rarely missing of the 24V voltage that provided to the invertor, in this case you should check the power supply. I hope it was helpful!
Let me know if more help is needed.
