Is there a tool that will make it easier to cut out a perfect circle?

Depending on the size you need to curl, hole saws are a perfect solution! Just need a drill to use it. Or a Dremel with a cutting too makes quick work but that's more for making a specific shape than a perfect circle. And finally, a string and a razor knife is what we used when I hung drywall. Good luck hope this helps.

You may want to consider a Circle Cutter:https://www.bontool.com/circle-cutter-16...

Circles are hard to make, I had a lot of trouble when we decided to put recess lighting into the whole house. I wasn't able to find a tool that does all the cutting for you but what worked really well for me was a Goldblatt Drywall Circle Cutter. It doesn't cut all the way through the drywall, it just scores it so that all you have to do is cut from the center of the circle out to the edge and then snap off the pieces. Saves you tons of time trying to get those round edges to look perfect!

Hello, I have a broken rear upper control arm on my 2007 Pontiac g6, just wondering what tools may be needed to take off and reinstall, or if there was anything special to do to it to make it a little...

No special tools required, just wrenches, ratchet/sockets, maybe a pry bar and/or a cutting torch (sometimes just is easier to cut it out depending).
If you don't have a torch or don't want to or can't cut or heat the nuts, then definitely get some penetrating fluid or wd40 and hose it down at least 1/2 hour before you go at it as this always makes breaking the nuts/bolts easier.
Good luck!

I HAVE A 1999 CATILLAC STS I HAVE THE LINE OFF AT THE FILTER GOING TO MOTOR BUT DO'NT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO FIT THE FILTER REMOVEL TOOL COMING FROM THE FUEL PUMP. ANY HELP YOU COULD GIVE IN THI

I have run into this. Some one at some point has put the wrong filter on. You will have to get one of those plastic line removal tools and cut it. You need to cut off the semi circle pieces to shove into the line fitting. Take the pieces and show them into the fitting. You will need a couples of angled Picks to get them all the way in to release. You will also need three hands to make it a bit more easier. They su(k at best, but it can be done. Be sure to get the right filter. Or look and get one with a long nipple on each end..The nipple is about 2 inches long on both ends...

I want to cut a circle where the outside line is 18 inches

To get a circle with a perimeter of 18 inches, you want a diameter of about 5.73 inches (just under 5 3/4 inches) or a radius of 2.86 inches (call it 2 7/8 inches). Get a compass, set its legs 2 and 7/8 inches apart, put one end at the center, and turn.

What is the common width of the steel cutting wheel on generic glass cutters?

I think you meant diameter of the wheel, since the width is basically that of a razors edge. the most common diameter of the cutting wheel is 7/32", unless your tool is made for cutting patterns or circles, in which case the wheel diameter should be 1/8"

Problem guiding the direction of cut with a jigsaw.

check that surface plate is square with the blade.don't push too hard,or force the saw,let it cut at it's own speed, guide rather than force.a scroll saw or band saw is more accurate as you control the work piece instead of the tool.

Cutting holes

My Dremel 300 came without any instructions, so I had to puzzle out how to use the circle cutter. None of the images I managed to find on the Web or elsewhere were any help. I directed my attention to the "spike" on the circle cutter, and eventually I realized that it was on the wrong (top) side of the cutter--perhaps for safety's sake. When I removed it and positioned it on the bottom side of the cutter, things became clearer. The next thing was to locate the correct cutting edge. I had never used Dremel before, so I didn't recognize the cutting "bit", since it looked like a drill bit. The final problem was how to attach the circle cutter to the Dremel tool. I couldn't see any way of fixing the cutter to the tool. I thought perhaps there was something missing--a connector, perhaps. Eventually I found a reference on the Web to "removing the cap" on the tool. I hadn't noticed a "cap", but when I gave it a turn, it began to unscrew, so I knew I was in business. Finally II tried the attachment out on a piece of scrap timber, I found that it worked. A simple instruction manual would have saved me a lot of time. Also, I now discover that the Dremel 400 would be much more useful than the 300. Dremel don't seem to be very customer friendly. I can access the US site, but the UK and Germany website won't let me in!
