Any brand that states specifically for front loader machines. From experience I would prefer to use liquid detergents specific for front loaders as there are less harmful products that rot and corrode parts in the machine.

I have a fisher & paykel front loading washing machine & need to know what each of the three slots where washing powder goes stand for? Machine Product Code 98707 & numbers WH70F60W1

You normally have 3 cups; 1 for Bleach, 1 for Liquid Fabric Softener, and 1 Liquid Clothes Detergent. I don't ever recommend using Laundry powder in front loads as it has a tendency to not fully dissolve and will build up in the dispenser overtime and prevent your clothes from washing.

Use Top Loader or Front Loader detergents Do you need to dissolve all powders or liquids before washing Can you alter spin time or speed

the use of liquid detergents is recommended over powders in washing machines as they do leave a mud build up over time in the bottom of the wash bowl
no they do have to be dissolved before use
spin speeds are set in the machine program and cannot be altered
spin time is set in the machine program and cannot be altered
use the recommended detergents for the machine because if you use top loader detergent in a front loader it will froth up excessively and cause problems for a front loader machine
the suitability of use for the detergent ( powder or liquid) is clearly marked on the labelling on the bottle or packet

Water not drane setisfewctori Cloth not dry

There are 2 possible reasons for this .The drain for the washer may be kinked at the back preventing the water being pumped out . The pump is virtually a water circulator and not a pressure pump so any obstruction will keep water in the washer.. Next --the spin cycle may be to slow for the water to be spun out of the clothes. Check the load is not above the recommended weight as this makes the spin cycle slow. IT is better to do 2 washes rather than to cram it all into 1 wash. Check the filter at the pump as they tend to block up with lint and other gunk from the clothes and the water may be unable to get to the pump Powdered detergents are 90% clay( fine as talc powder and used to carry the detergent) and this settles out in the lower parts of a machine so if you use powder I would recommend changing to liquid

Can you use a powder detergent in an HE washer? Do they even make a powder HE detergent?

They do make a powdered HE detergent. You'd have to check the owners manual for your machine to see if they recommend it.

When in wash it dosent remove all soap powder from clothes

I don't know how you are administering the soap powder to the machine..but for one, its recommended that you use detergent thats made exclusively for the front loader washer, usually says "he" on the front of the LIQUID detergent, they recommend that you use liquid detergent on top of that, BUT if you have to use regular powder detergent it must be put inside the tub and NOT the pull out detergent drawer. The reason why they want you to use liquid is because the powder detergent is not concentrated and when you use it, it lathers up alot and its harder for the front loader machine to clean out the clothes and I was told that they (sales agents) have heard of soap suds and bubble floods coming from the machine due to either using the powder detergent or using too much. Hope that this helps!!

2 powder trays

Using powder in the pre-wash (open) tray is recommended for heavy loads but may not be required if the dishes get clean with powder in only the wash tray.

White marks on my clothes.

Are you using TOO much powder? And is the machine set to the correct rinse tempature? You mention white stuff, does it look like undissolved washing powder? Or fabric softner? Possibly try liquid detergent and see if the problem continues. And follow the recommended amounts of detergent for each wash load, and the tempature settings. And of course the water levels. All of the above are crucial to insure you get maximum preformance and utility out of your machine, with the results you expect. Let us know what you find. Kindest Regards, Slats.

Suds residue left on clothes just washed

ck drain hose end of drain hose should be at least 36 ins from floor also be sure drain hose fits loosely in drain water may be siphoning out resulting low water level to wash/rinse ..also recommend using liquid detergent dry doesn't dissolve good in cold water and even though it may be recommended for front load the lower water levels used may not be enough to dissolve it properly

Marks on clothes

Hi. Souds like an Effect called ****. Usually caused by not using enough powder, or washing at too low a temperature. You should do a boil wash at least once a month with powder in but no clothes in. It is called maintenance wash. Always wash at the recommended temp on the wash care label. Good luck
