My camcorder picture is not working how do i make it work

The flash on the camcorder only works while taking still pictures, not for videos.

For still pictures, pressing the Flash button on the lower-left corner of the display gives you three options: Auto, On, and Off.

For videos, if you want more light, you're going to have to look elsewhere. Any good camera store can show you a selction of lights.

Had the same problem. It's ainternal flex wire connecting LCD with camcorder. Got from the repair shop did it by miself and it's like knew. It's very common in sony. My child is already 2 and I can't imagine how to be without camcorder. All the best for the baby and Good luck

Time for a new camcorder, you can't get parts, they do not sell to the public.

this sounds like it doesn't make sense, and I don't know why it started working ok, but all I did was switch the position on the memory card to ''locked'', put it in the camcorder and of course it told me the card was locked. So I reinstalled it after ''unlocking'' it, and now it seems to work ok. Can't explain why this worked and still don't know what a "Directory Index" is...

What is model number of your Canon camcorder?

if you are trying to play the dvd in the computer you have to finalize it first. The Camcorder has to be plugged in for this to work. if you want to see the Pictures make sure that you have it in the view mode. Where you would see ll the pictures on the camera, then it should show up on you "My Computer". It took me a while too. Good luck

Pinncale Studio will work. It will read your camcorder the minute it is plugged in and the power is turned on to it.

1st setup ur VCD with TV and playback it to view on TV. If picture is coming, thats OK.
2nd plug ur camcorder in VCR input and select VCR input according to plug in and monitor the camcorder picture on TV through VCR. If its ok, now u r ready to record the picture from camcorder to VCR.
