4E is showing on the Samsung Washing Machine.
The solution in the manual says:
"make sure the source water faucet is turned on; check the water pressure".
Checked this and looks fine. Any ideas please?
When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:
1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.
3. With a pair of pliers, gently pull out the mesh filter from the end of the hose and rinse it under water until clean. Also clean the inside and outside of the threaded connector.
4. Push the filter back into place.
5. Screw the hose back onto the washing machine.
6. Turn on the faucet and make sure the connections are watertight.
Also, please check the following:
• Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
• Check the water pressure.

I just fixed the problem
just moved house
Water wouldn't fill up for my Samsung machine and kept giving me 4e error msg
Manual said something about pressure so i moved drain hose that was draining to the drainage on the laundry floor to the sink so that the drain hose is going upward
Problem solved! Just like that
E4 error is caused either by: 1) low input water pressure and thus filling the tub takes a very long time; or 2) water level sensor is not working or not able to tell water level in the tub. For #1, check water filter at point where water hose connects to the washing machine and make sure it is not clogged. Also make sure there is enough water pressure from the mains. For # 2, unplug the washing machine, open the back cover and check for a dislodged .5 cm diameter tube that attaches to the lower portion of the tub. That tube is connected to the water level sensor and with the shaking, it gets dislodged over time. Re attach it and your washing machine will work as before.)
Very good depth on that pressure switch. Trying now and hope for success.

Well, this nonsense about kinked hoses and clogged filter wasnt my problem...its the defective crimp bracket that holds the drain tube to the tub...with all the whirring and spinning, the darn thing slips off and water runs down onto the floor,,,the system detects that water isn't filling into the tub and kicks the 4E code. I just fixed this a second time (over 9 mos) and need to go off an get a tigheter crimp bracket...Samsung engineers design the length of this half-inch tubing so that is has very little give so incremental pull/pushes by the tub itself eventually pulls it off its tub connection. Just remove the 4 back panel screws and you should see on the lower right side if the tube is no longer connected (and by now just dripping water on the floor).
Samsung WF337AAL Front Load Washer This video will help you diagnose the fault on 3e error codes and the video will help you solve the problem
Also if your cold water temperature is below 59 deg. F it will display code "4E" if the hot water is not connected. Auto temperature control function selects hot or cold automatically.

If you have pulled out and cleaned the filter at the back of the machine where the hose connects then I would check that your pump is not running during the cycle and also make sure your drain line is at least half way above your drum at its highest point, If its too low then it will drain off even if the pump is not running.
SOURCE: Samsung Washing machine fault
possibly a blockage at the end of the thin pressure hose where it fits onto drum ie;scale or soap powder. Also clean the chamber/hose it fits onto

Hey 4E error comes in case
1. No proper water supply
2. The Outlet pipe sould be at AT LEAST 60 CM to max 90 CM HEIGHT ie to the height of the washing machine, try putting the outlet pipe to the holder at the back of the machine.
