Anyone know how to get into the service menu for Vizio VS370E. I'm an experienced TV tech and very familiar with adjustment procedures but Vizio of course won't give me the procedure for entering the service menu. Thanks in advance. Jeff
Thanks, I've seen that method on other boards myself but it doesn't work on this model. I do appreciate the response though and yes I think I could change Magnavox PTV fluid in my sleep I've done so many of them !! Thanks again.

I found this on another answer board. I've only worked on a couple of these sets (whole board replacement in both cases) so I don't know if this is going to work. But it couldn't hoit!
1. Turn The TV off. 2. Press and hold CH + and CH - buttons on the TV simultaneously. 3. Press and release the POWER button on the TV, then release the CH + and CH - buttons. 4. Press MENU button on the remote. The regular menu comes up, and the set displays an "F" (for "factory") in the bottom right corner of the menu. 5. Press and hold the MENU button for few seconds and the Service Menu will be displayed.
There wasn't any mention of how to exit service mode. Hope this works for you!
(Didn't you just love changing coolant on Magnavox PTVs?)

It sounds like you may be experiencing an issue with the color processing board in your TV. After power supply replacement, some adjustments should be done to match the new power supply board. It will be best to contact any experienced service technician, since this work is a skilled one, and have to enter the service mode option screen; which is entirely different to that of user adjustment screen. Adjust the data value to this mode is very crucial, and improper data adjustments might make the TV might not respond to any command signals, either by remote control, or by its front panel control. Entering service menu and adjust data values there is a very skilled work.
I just realized that there is no usb port on this tv. Called tech support at vizio since I'm still under warranty. They're sending a new remote. I know it's not the remote because neither the verizon nor the vizio remote works, although the vizio remote will intermittently work if I'm one foot away from the sensor on the tv and holding the remote on a downward angle. Tech support says they will send a new remote to rule that out before they send a tech over. I'll check the posts to see if you find a solution when I finally get the tech guy out here. If not, I'll let you know what he does.
The set may be overscanning. You will need a service tech to evaluate this for you. It is possible that there are some failed components that can cause this problelm. It is also possible that there are some adjustments that can be done.
The first step is to find out if there is a problem or not. It is not very good practice to over adjust a set to compensate for a fault condition. Then there will be bigger problems soon after.
An experienced TV tech who is familiar with your set can make some diagnostics to know where the fault is occuring.
