Maytag neptune washer MAH5500B spins 2 minutes on a 9 minute cycle and shuts off with 7 minutes remaining
I could not find maytag service man that could fix our unbalanced problem leaving the clothes wet and telling me to just not use max extract and to unplug for 30min. the womon that runs the laundromat said the only reason a front loader will unbalance is from using too much soap( HE soap is sold for that purpose) and after just HE soap it is back to normal REASON is that there is a sensor that ontinues to add water to get rid of the excess soap. fabric softener will reduce the suds if used too much soap
Faulty Timer.
It's probably because you have a unbalanced load. I bet you are hearing the washer banging around. Take a few items out as the most common cause is you filled the washer with too much clothing.
