Many washers have different wash settings and rinses in addition to temperature options and water levels (or load size). The temperatures wont affect the wash times (but hot and warm water washes will cost you more for the expense of making the hot water), so choose whichever you think you need. The water level makes a small impact each time it needs to be filled (wash, rinse, etc.). A warm wash will fill in half the time as either a cold or hot wash - as both hot and cold water are combined to make a "warm" water cycle.
A "Normal" or "Regular" wash without a pre-soak or pre-wash cycle and a single rinse is usually sufficient for *most* laundry needs - especially if you're using dryer sheets. Otherwise, you may find fabric softener is not rinsed out enough to your liking (or not - it's a personal choice).
If your machine offers a "Max Extract" or longer spin setting - it is worth running it to reduce the amount of time they're in the expensive-to-use dryer.
If you need more help - provide your washer brand and model.
Usually most of the people can people give their jackets for dry clean because some times if we wash clothes from normal washing powder then your jacket will shrink, rough and loose its shine. It is better to wash your jacket with mild gel liquid which are used to wash the woolen cloth or you can give it to dry cleaner.
Likely not dishwasher tablets / powder are generally harsher than soap powder. It would not be a good practice to do constantly as detergents are formulated for specific purposes they vary in pH, surfactants and other agents that keep dirt in suspension so it can be rinsed away. The dishwasher cleaners really should be used periodically as every now and then it is good to run a wash the machine rather then it washing dishes.
You need a sequestering agent to get the metal out. Get a quart at your professional pool supply house and follow the container instructions.
For best results, chlorine should be at minimum or at zero.
Before you do this ... does your pool have a heater attached? What is the pH? If there is a heater and the pH is below 7.0, the water could be eating the copper jacket in the heater. Make the pH right before you do anything. pH should be at 7.2
How big is your pool? Have you removed the metal from the water? (Sequestering agent will remove) Have you used a flocking agent in the filter? How long do you run the filter? Ho long have you had this problem?
Run the filter longer, there is nothing wrong with 24/7. A sequestering agent will get the metal, but your chlorine should be 1 or 2 ppm. A filter flocking agent will increase the pressure in your system until you back wash ... this agent will help get rid of the solids in the water.
What about your chemestry? Alkalinity should be set first between 80 and 120 with 100 being the goal. The pH should then be adjusted for a number between 7.2 and 7.8 with 7.4 being the goal. Gunnite pool? Calcium should be around 250 ppm.
