Start by adjusting your idle mixture screw. Start at 1 1/2 turns out and with the engine in gear at an idle slowly turn the screw clockwise until the engine starts to die, then back off a half turn and that will be your proper setting. If you need to you can bump up your idle stop screw just a touch so it will hold also.
