I have a problem with my existing Thetford toilet cassette, which has been found to have corrosion (due to poor manufacture) on the 4 pin plug and the control panel PCB.I have attempted to contact Thetford as the part is only two and a half years old well within their stated guarantee, but their total lack of response shows how ashamed they are of their products. Does any one have a wiring diagram for the subject toilet? The reason for asking is that the harness that one can buy only shows one plug at each end whereas my toilet has two 1 four pin plug with 4 wires blue/ brown and red /black serving the pump and one presumes the fuse below. The pump is working okay with an outside supply also the fuse is intact. 1 two pin plug both black wires presumably going to the reed level switch below. It has been suggested that I solder the wires to the PCB direct, as it is impossible to check if the PCB is okay. If I buy a new control panel and harness how do I connect the pump to the new harness, as the existing plugs will not disconnect from the wires without cutting them? Hence this plea for help.

I have a 2007 ram3500 the sensor I found is mounted to the side of the intercooler. it looks like a short probe with wires. are you sure the sensor is bad? probably not much call for one after market. check with dealer

car electrics are a nightmare. the car lights up when a door is open i presume. and by bypassing the central locking. the electric computer says there is a fault. and will not start. that i think is programed in. best thing to do is. go to phone VW dealer ask about diagnostic test without repair. about £35 then fix it yourself. they garentee it right I think. the dealers have come into line better with that kind of thing phone and ask anyway.

Some tips - if seal is old and breaking up make sure you recover all the bits which have fallen into the flush water tank. If new o-ring seal not available use outdoor silicone sealant and allow to set for 48 hours before adding anything other than a small amount of water to test flush action. Electric circuit includes a fuse and microswitch which are both contained within the flush water tank but you are unlikely to have problems with these items.
