I'm sorry to say but I have a similar issue. I've been searching all over online for the manual to this camera and found nothing but sites that try to scam you out of information or money. Could anyone who might have the camera's manual send me scans of it?

All I could find out is that the camcorder has an option for night vision, and 3 different flash modes, but I couldn't find any information on how to select them. Refer to your manual for the specifics. I couldn't run down a manual online, so hope you have it.

It is probably because you have NO card in the camera. It has a tiny bit of "internal" memory which is enough to take a still shot or so but not enough to take even a short video, so in video mode it will tell you the memory is full even with no file on it. Putting an SD card in slot 1 will solve it.
