If fans are running and compressor is not check to see if the unit has a starting capacitor for the compressor - check it for capacitance value and change if necessary. If still nothing, using a voltmeter check to see if current is reaching the starting windings of compressor. If nothing, then maybe the thermostat is defective. But if current appears at terminal and the start capacitor is good, then the motor has definitely gone to heaven.
if compressor is running and refrigerator is warm, either the self defrost mechanism is not working or perhaps you may be in need of refrigerant.
To change unit you need vacuum pump, solder and soldering equipment, schrader valve, refrigerant scale and refrigerant, gauges, rags, emery paper, etc.
The lights flashing made be signaling a trouble code. If you have the owners manual or can go to the mfg website and download the manual, you may be able to find the troubleshooting section for the correct solution.
Sounds like you may have a compressor issue to me. if the fans are running that tells me the tstat is calling for cooling and the fans are running so they are fine. The comp is not producing cooling for some reason. Can you see the comp and tell if its running or not?
Hi, This is very easy designer this Board, I 'm a repair center from this boards.... what do you need from shematic this board, question for my and I give help for you from Brasil in www.indexdata.com.br.....
First things first, check the power supply. If there is power at the pluf then I would look at the temperature control. Check to make sure it is closing and calling for the compressor to be coming on, that will also control the condenser fan motor.
Good luck
