My washer , which is a front load, has a loud knocking noise during the spin cycle. I have checked the belt and the belt is in good working order. It appears as if the internal drum has came off the tracks and is rubbing as it spins.
How can I fix this issue?

You need to replace your washer, the Inner tub Spider broke.. I repaired mine, With me doing the labour, $285 just for the part alone. plus about 3 to 4 hours labour.

Ive got the same friggen problem, except I opened mine up to find the shocks were destroyed, so I replaced them at 86$ for more crappy plastic
now it still sounds like a truck
yours is probably at the early stages, im guessing what happens is the shocks eventually wear out, then one snaps causing the drum to slowly come off track, then the other shock snaps and you have what i have.
Going to take the whole assembly apart this week, what a pile of ****, i will let you know what i find if you like
