You can't remove it. Wait about 8 to 12 to 24 hours and you should be able to peel it all off. Someone below mentioned "nail polish remover". I doubt that will work, since it is not a dissolving agent for any kind of glue. You could try '3M General Adhesive remover'. I doubt it will work. Nothing dissolves super glue, except 100% battery acid. I believe "Nail polish remover" is a myth. That would be like converting plastic back into their natural polymer state. If you have noticed once you open a Super Glue tube it dries up with in a day or two and becomes useless.
Try placing the tube upright after wiping the nozzle and replacing the cap, in a refrigerator. This will extend the life of the glue at least by a few weeks.
Do not put it in the Freezer.
Super Glue is a cyanoacrylate adhesive. It's impervious to water, but can be dissolved with an organic solvent, such as acetone. Some nail polish removers contain acetone, but be sure to check the label, since many acetone-free products are available and will not work against Super Glue. It's also possible to find pure acetone in stores that sell home supplies or art supplies, because acetone is a useful solvent.
remove as much of the dash as you can and find the wires that pull and push the flaps and lubricate them, use white lithium grease spray to get into hard to reach areas. use it liberally. glue the knob with some really strong glue like gorilla glue or any super glue or replace the part. remove the heater core valve that controls the flow and remove buildup or dunk it in CLR or rust remover, lubricate and place it back in.
Could be damp and dirt inside the controller caused by sweaty hands, just wipe clean But not too hard or it will cause the other possible fault which is that the carbon coating on the rubber keypad has worn off. I have cured this for a short time by fixing silver foil with super glue on the rubber contacts. But only lasted 4-5 months because rubber flexes, maybe another glue or a conductive paint of some kind would be better.
