I have a Maytag Neptune front load washer that violently shakes and walks during the spin cycle. It is absolutely level, sits on a very solid floor and will do this no matter what size load is washing. We have tried the non-skid pads and it walks right off them. How do I fix this?
I had this problem as well.
I called dealer and Maytag.
They made an appointment and stood me up several times.
I finally went to place that sells refrigeration equipment and bought an anti-vibration pad.
It's a 12" square waffle pad used under large equipment to prevent them from vibrating loose on connected piping. I cut it into 4 pieces and put one under each corner of the dryer.
Problem solved, in fact it worked so well that I stacked dryer over washer, placed pads between units and have not had a problem since. I also gained a lot of space in my laundry room as well.
You cna try removing the front panel, first 2 screws removethe door"hinge, then 2 screws opposite thehinge, you can then remove the front "u shaped" cover and from there yo can look into the machine , its possible that one or bothof the "suspension/shock absorbers has broken"
