Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.

E10 on Zanussi W/D
I had E10 on Zanussi W/D.
The machine would wash but not dry.
Changed the water inlet valve assembly.
All working again.
All credit to wildwest1959, thanks.

It is simply that water is not getting into the machine at a "reasonable" speed. Or NO water is getting in. It can be as simple as the water turned off at the place you connect your washing machine.

My washing machine keeps stopping during its washing cycle and says fault E10

Thank you for your inquiry, Barbara Constable!
I see that your Electrolux washer is displaying an "E10" error code. "E10" stands for fill time too long you may want to check the hoses to make sure they are not restricted or kinked this could cause slow fill within your washer. If the hoses look to be in good shape then I would suggest it could be a faulty sensor or control panel. You could additionally reset your washer by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. If you restore power and it continues to flash "E10" I would recommend having a professional out to properly diagnosis your washer. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

I have a Zanussi 1600 Jet System Washing Machine, it has started the cycle and 4 mins into it, an E10 error reads on the display, have turned the machine off, and back on, checked pipes, can see you...

Hello,
This error code relates to water pressure check that the pipes are not kinked, check the water valves are fully on also check if the little filters in the end of the hoses are cleaned.Make sure that the mains water pressure has not been reduced. There could still be a fault with one of the inlet valves but it is most probably the little gauze filters

Zanussi Jet Stream 1600 is displaying E10 as it has started its cycle to wash. Can you tell me what this means please?

I found that the water pipes were frozen! so I have 'gently' defrosted them and we are now working...

Thanks

It has a E10 fault code now it stops every 2 min beeping and it not pulling in enough water or spinning right can anyone help pls???

E10 means that there is a problem with water inlet. If the control board does not detect required water level after a certain time after opening inlet valve, then you will get F10.

Check that the inlet hose is not kinked and that there is pressure in there.

Try tripping the circuit breaker for ten minutes to reset the timer board.

If you still get E10, then you usually need to replace the triple inlet water valve connected to water hose. Usually the valve solenoid has gone.

The solenoid can be tested using a multimeter set at Rx1. If solenoid is good it will return about 4 KOhms, if not it will return infinity.

Regards.

Kenmore front load washer, model 417

Washer dryers often have cold water valves with 3 separate solenoids. One for the main wash and rinses (which is clearly ok) and one for the condition rinse (to take the fabric conditioner down) which is probably ok too, and the 3rd one is for the dryer. It's possible this 3rd solenoid has failed.

Washer dryers need on a steady trickle of cold water running into the condenser chamber to convert the steam into water, which then gets pumped down the drain.

e10 means that there is a problem with the water supply.
a condenser dryer needs cold water to operate properly. the e10 code will appear if:
1. the water is turned off
2.the water pressure is too low.
3.the solenoid valve is open circuit
4.there is a problem with the pressure switch (least likely)

Cold valve is at the end of blue inlet pipe remove lid and you will see it.

f E10 is only appearing when trying to dry, the problem almost certainly is the condenser valve solenoid open circuit. The green solenoid on the inlet valve. Should read about 4000 ohms.

My money would be on the solenoid coil being open circuit. The coil can be canabalised from most valves although you may have to modify the connections. For simpler repairs - contact Zanussi and get the entire triple inlet water valve to swap out.

EFO, E10 error Message

Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....

EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

E10 error code

I had this problem, the washer/dryer stopped working while in the drying cycle and displayed e10 message. It was caused by a faulty three-way inlet valve. The solenoid controlling flow to dryer condenser proved to be open circuit. Pulled washer out from under counter top, unplugged, removed top cover, tested solenoid circuits with ohm meter and found one solenoid was faulty. The filter going into the unit was clear. Replaced whole three way component with one ordered on Internet and all now works fine. Noticed that during drying cycle, water to condenser is constantly being switched on and off, explaining why the green condenser solenoid is the one that wears out first.
