Format the memory card. That's the fastest and easiest way to clear everything off the card, and should be done each time you finish transferring all your pictures to your computer.
Some apps that you've downloaded are stored on your SD card, and so are some of the spam that they leave for you. You may need to back up your memory card for the things that you need like videos, music, and pictures. Then delete everything else and reformat your SD card as well.
You should check to make sure the fan on the card is working properly. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly. If I am correct, that card requires two connections from the power supply. Also check the card and make sure it is free of dust and lint. You may also need to make sure you are getting good air flow in your case.
If everything is proper, you should see about replacing the card via return or replacement through the manufacturer or retailer.
The best thing for you to do is to put the sd card to your computer's card reader if there is any and copy the files to your local drive then format the SD card. Once formatted, try to put it back to your phone. If you dont have a memory card reader, you can just buy a USB memory card reader and plug it to your computer so that it will detect it as an external storage.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Just a thought: if your PC is able to read the card, copy all the card's contents to the PC's hard drive. Install this program on your PC and use it to format the SD card. Then, copy the files back to your card, and insert it in your phone.
Hope it works for you
Cheers!

I had the same issue. I ended up having to use 2 old phones and had to copy everything over to them to save my stuff. After I formatted it I then recopied everything over to it and it worked. Otherwise copy everything over to your computer with a card reader. Once your card is formatted you can then copy everything back over
you may need to reformat the card to be viewable by your new phone -
1. transfer everything to a PC
2.then insert the card into the phone
3. and look for the option to format the card
transfer everything back to the phone/ or card!
