Hi,

Yes it's possible. In the activesync program, press menu and you should see an option of connect via bluetooth.

Welcome to Fixya

If the problem just occur recently then you might need to reinstall the activesync software. Try to insert the USB to other USB ports available. Would it be possible if you can provide me the error message that you are getting?

Customer help line

Here are the steps:
1. Make the partnership between the phone and the pc with the cable first and let it sync once.
2. Unplug the cable, turn on the bluetooth and make the pc and phone connect through bluetooth and save the device in the device list so it can connect everytime you want to sync without adding the device again.
3. Once they are connected to each other run active sync (with bluetooth still active) and press Menu-Connect via bluetooth. Here's the tricky part, it wont always connect. You have to do this a couple of times until you get a connection. For me its like 4-5 times and i get connected.

Thats it.

HPiPAQrx5915 wont active sync with pc or laptop by usb or bltooth

What version of ActiveSync are you using? Open ActiveSync on the PC, then open "About ActiveSync" under the "Help" menu - it should be version 4.5. If not, download version 4.5 from Microsoft as a first attempt to fix the problem. If you are using 4.5, try uninstalling/reinstalling again but make sure you do a soft reset (push the pin on the top of the device) before you connect the Ipaq. If this doesn't work let me know and we'll try some other things.

Active Sync. on an MDA Vario 3

i had this problem, everytime i refreshed the mda the pc showed that the phone was connecting then once the mda vario had stopped the connection was lost, what i did notive was that the com port for active sync showed up on my pc as com port 4? which isnt a choice on the mda as there is only 2 ports available com 6 and com 7, what i did was to add new serail services to the pc until i was given com 6 as a choice,(because by default the pc starts off as com 4 then com 5 etc, so goto the bluetooth configuration then click on client apps and keep adding new service until you get com 6 then try and sync via activesync on your phone, if that doesnt work make sure that you have added new bluetooth device which gives you options of what services you would like the phone to use with the pc, click activesync then configure it to connect on com 6 voila that should work fine iv just updated mine to netframework 2.0 and can now run all the apps i want, any problems email me on [email protected] il be happy to assist any way i can as i was stuck on this problem for ages and ages until i finally solved it hope you succeed.

Palm TX, Dell 6300 Laptop, can see each other through Bluetooth but will not connect. Want to connect to sync clocks.

Have you checked your hotsync settings and bluetooth settings to make sure that you are using bluetooth sync and not the serial connect. Palm devices can also share LAN/Internet over bluetooth.

Sansung i780 to be used as a USB modem

(I) 1)First pair the PC and your phone of course 2)After pairing, meaning the phone and the pc sees each other, go to your phone and look for the icon "internet sharing". 3)Choose bluetooth pan as you pc connection then press connect. So now your phone is on data connection via gprs, 3g or 3g+ 4) Then go to your pc now and go to My bluetooth places search for Network Access Point and enable it. It will turn green with arrows, meaning it has established a connection.TADA! Now you have internet connection using your i780s
(II) Do you have in your programs or settings a icon called Internet Sharing?
If so please connect to active sync first and then select the internet sharing icon.
Active sync will disconnect and your laptop will start using your phone as the modem.
