My Imperia electric pasta machine in not getting power?

I would doubt that it's the electrical cord or plug, (though anything is possible.). I don't know this machine that well. It's possible that the switch is bad, but more likely I would think that it might be a fuse inside the machine.

Did it stop working while making pasta? Or was it working fine the last time, you put it away, brought it back out and now it's dead? Or is it a machine you bought new and it's DOA?

If it was overworked, it may have overheated and blew a fuse inside to protect the motor or other parts from burning up.

You might want to bring it to a local appliance repair shop that can take it apart to test things out to see were the disconnect is.

How to clean the dryed pasta from Imperia Electric Resturant RM220 Pasta Machine Cylinders

I use a toothpick and toothbrush which is gentle and will not damage the plates and you can poke the toothpick through the holes.

Ronco pasta maker stops on the mix mode

Your motor most likely has a short which is making it go to a sort of pause. The machine motor (the whole machine part not the insides) can easily be replaced on eBay or I just bought a new motor at Goodwill for $6.99.

CPSC, Creative Technologies Corp. Announce Recall to Replace Lids on Pasta Machines

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Creative Technologies Corp. of Brooklyn, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 50,000 pasta machines to replace some of their lids. When the safety cutoff switch on the lid does not activate, consumers' fingers can be severely injured if their hand is placed into the mixing bowl.

CPSC and Creative Technologies are aware of 11 incidents of the machine unexpectedly turning on, resulting in nine injuries including cut, crushed and severed fingers.

The lid replacement program involves the Takka Pasta and Dough machine (model X1000), and the Pasta Express machines (models X2000, X3000 and X4000). Only pasta machines that have serial numbers up to 78209 are subject to this replacement program. The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the bottom of the machine. "Pasta Express TM by CTC" or "Takka Pasta and Dough by CTC" is on the front of the machine. The pasta machines are beige or white. Some machines have chrome-plated front panels. Through this voluntary recall, Creative Technologies will provide consumers with a replacement lid.

The machines are sold in cardboard boxes identifying the model of the machine. A photograph of the machine is on the front of the box.

Department stores, mail order catalogs and warehouse clubs nationwide sold the pasta machines from 1999 to present for between $90 and $200.

Consumers should stop using the pasta machines immediately and call IHW, Inc. (formerly Creative Technologies) at (718) 492-8400. The company will help consumers determine whether their pasta machine is subject to this replacement program and, if necessary, will provide a free replacement lid.

Originally issued November 25, 1999
Last Revised June 2, 2003
Release # 98-032

I am looking for an instruction manual for a bialetti pasta machine

For the manual or electric type?
If it's the manual type follow these steps.
Secure the machine to the counter.
Adjust the dial (usually by pulling it out and rotating it) to number one. Feed the dough through the machine. For thinner pasta keep adjusting the dial and running the dough through until you have the desired thickness.
Run dough through the other end...the one with grooves. On mine I have to pull the handle out and move it to another slot.
Hope this helps.
