My AC tech obtained a product made by Nu-Calgon, Evap Pow'R 4168-08.
"concentrated metal-safe evaporator coil cleaner" Use as directed. Removed the smell.

Check the location of your drain, it might be installed in a ditch or smelly location. Install "P" trap in the drain pipe pipe to avoid the smell coming back into the drain.

Water is coming out of indoor mini split. At present time high humidity. Fujitsu machine. Filters are clean, serviced by tech.

It probably has a blocked drain. A bit of liquid bleach into the condensate tray and let it sit for a while before running the air con to flush it down usually does the trick. Otherwise you may have to insert a tube into the drain and blow it clear.

Water leaking out of hose on a fujitysu split system ast24rga

Normally, an Air Conditioner removes water from the air and that water condenses on the coils of the inside section that does the cooling. The water condenses on the cooling coils just like moisture condenses on the outside of a glass of ice water.
This excess water drains out of the cooling section through a "drip tube" and is supposed to drain outside of the house, or a drainage system. Your "drip tube" has either not been installed (if it is a brand new installation), has separated and water is now dripping into the house instead of outside of it. Or it is clogged. This happens when algae builds up inside the "drip pan". If that is the case, you can purchase "algaecide" tablets which kill the algae that is clogging the drip pan and preventing water from draining out through the drip tube. These tablets can be found in many hardware stores, refrigeration supply companies, or even Walmart. You can put a tablet inside the pan. (You will have to remove the cover of the unit). You can often use a little bit of Bleach and that will act as an algaecide. Hope this helps,
Best, Mark

Dads air con doesn't seem to be heating that good it is model no. AST17RSF-W Fujitsu. Wanting to know how to fix easily.

Simplest thing to do is get an air compressor and clean the outside aircon condenser. This if blocked will cause cooling and heating problems. Not to forget to clean the inside evaporator filters as well.

Fujitsu split system air con leaking inside the house from the unit

The drain pipe must be plugged up or bent. Lift cover of unit and look for water in the tray, find drain hole and remove obstruccion inserting a piece of wire. Be gentle and careful. After the water in the tray drains out, pour a glass of water in the tray to rinse it out and make sure the drain pipe is completely clear.

While you are at it, clean the air filter of the unit.

Good Luck

Will Not Heat

On the outdoor unit the fan should not be running, on the indoor unit the fan should be running. If you then check the outdoor unit with fan not running, you should be able to hear clearly that the compressor is actually working. If this is all correct, it is possible that your fourway reverse valve is seeping and needs to be replaced.

Water leaking into the house - model AOT24RWGL

Either the drain line is clogged, or there is a hole in the pan.

Get a powerfull wet/dry shop vacume.
Attatch it to the end of the drain pipe and seal it tight and pull out any dirt, mold crud blockages.

Take the panel off so you can access the drain pan under the evap coil. Clean that out as well with the vac.

Once its nice and clean, poor a gallon or so of water into the pan bein g carefull to not pour to fast.
Make sure that the line is drainign well and look for any spots where there may be a crack, hole etc in the drain pan where water may leak out

I have a Fujitsu Split air-con system - have power, but the maintenance and timber lights are flashing but unit not working - have cleaned the filters, changed the batteries to remote control unit.

Try to disconnect the supply from circuit breaker for 10sec. and "on" again, if it doesn't work you need at qualified technician for that problem.
