Remote unit slides open but cant find battery cover-model AR-DL10

It is about 2 to 3 yrs old and I think we need new batteries. It has a sleep button at th etop left and a Timer button on top right. I cant figure out where the battery hatch is. I assume we need to get the slider off and maybe it is there?

Also, where can I buy a new one?

When sliding the bottom part of the remote down, you have to lift it slightly (I did this with a letter opener - very carefully) to pry the door up from two stops that normally prevent the dorr from sliding down too far. If you look carefully, you can see what I mean.

Yes it is at back of slide door of your remote, slide down the remote control door and remove it then you can see the battery inside.

My ARDL-10 remote would only slide down far enough to expose the controls inside, but not far enough to show battery compartment. After a lot of attempts I gently pushed up on one side with it opened as far as it would go and it "clicked" off the little catch that was holding it. I put it back on in the reverse after I installed new batteries..

Remote control model AR-DL10 does not work even with new batteries. does not have RST button.

The reset button on the AR-DL10 is the 'ACL' button. On my unit it is just above the Start/Stop button. On some of them it is in the battery compartment.

"Dead" Remotes Can Be Saved

How to Re-Start Your "Dead" Remote Control

This only takes about a minute and will restart 1 in 3 "Dead" Original Remote Controls. Good Luck!

-----------------------------

Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.

Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once!

Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2.

(When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!)

Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly.

New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones.

Step 5- Try the remote.

Special Note:

If you have a digital camera, camcorder or camera phone you can test the remote to see if it is emitting a signal. Face the remote towards the lens of the digital unit until you can see the front of the remote. Depress any button on the remote. You should see a light (steady, blink or flashing) being emitted from the remote. If you do then the problem might not be the remote but the sensor on the unit.

If it works, Great!

If not, it's time to call 1-800-Remotes or use this website to order a new remote.

Hi, I have the cloud B sleep sheep and it appears to be malfunctioning. It turns on/off before the time limit is up. It's also making a swoosh sound like static and when I go to reset it, it takes a few...

Hi, it sounds like your Sleep Sheep may need new batteries. When the batteries begin to die, the Sleep Sheep starts to act erratically, sometimes only turning on for a second or two, or only working if you hold down one of the buttons.

To open the battery compartment, you'll need a tiny Phillips screwdriver, like one found in a computer repair toolkit or an eyeglass repair toolkit. Once you've removed the two screws, slide the battery cover to the left (away from the screw holes). The Sleep Sheep takes two AA batteries.

Hope that helps!

Fujitsu remote control Model AR-DL10. I need to change the batteries. I can pull the slide down to expose the set/ swing/ energy save, but I think I have to pull it further down to get to the batteries. ...

How to get to the batteries in a AR-DL 10 Model Fujitsu Remote Control/ A/C

Pull it down to expose the controls inside.
To pull it down further to expose the batteries: PINCH BOTH SIDES OF THE slider at the top where it is knurled so it will bow out a little bit in the center AT the same time you may need to
slide an object under the slider to help it bow up a litter further.
WHILE DOING THIS: pull the slider further to expose the batteries. There are two plastic stops that the slider must clear to pull it down enough to get the new batteries placed. Before putting it back together: File down the two stops with a nail file so it is easier to do next time. - Who engineered this?

Sleep Timer on remote does not work

First try to access the sleep timer menu from the controls on the TV to verify the TV is working.

If that works then the remote has the problem.
Now try this;
Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.
If this does not work, then you may need a new remote unit.
