2006 power outlets don't work. I check both cig, and pwr out fuses, and they appear ok. what next

The power outlets need a ground to work. Maybe the ground wire isn't connected to the power outlet.
tip

Power Supply Issues: Your Troubleshooting Guide

If the power supply shuts off unexpectedly or doesn't turn on at all, try the following steps:

  1. Check that the power supply is connected to a grounded, 3 conductor socket.
  2. Check to see if the outlet has power, by plugging another device that works in another outlet.
  3. Check the power supply cord to ensure it's not damaged.
  4. Place the power supply (transformer) at least 3.6 meters / 11.8 feet from the pool and at least 12 cm / 4 Inch above the surface (fig.1). The transformer will supply low voltage to the cleaner
  5. Uncoil the cable (fig.2)
  6. Place the unit in the water. Turn the unit side to side in the water to allow air to escape from the body and then let the cleaner sink to the bottom of the pool (fig.3). Allow wheels to soak for 15 minutes before using Mirra for the first time of the season.
  7. Then, spread the cable over the surface of the pool as evenly as possible (fig.1).
  8. Plug the cable into the power supply. Make sure the key on the plug corresponds exactly with the key slot on the socket of the power supply (fig. 4a)
  9. Plug the power supply into a grounded outlet. (fig. 4b)
  10. Press the CLEAN button and the light will glow indicating that the system is "ON." The pool cleaner should start the cleaning cycle (fig. 5). Turn the power supply on and off a few times, leaving 45 seconds in between each action, if the pool doesn't start cleaning.
  11. If problem still continues, please contact customer service or your local repair center for further assistance.

Current flow

This does NOT sound like a computer problem, this actually sounds like a house grounding issue. You should consider getting an electrician to check out the outlet(s) or even main breaker panel for a highly probable voltage to ground problem, that may be back-feeding to your devices.

I am trying to install the light/outlet combo into my 80 year old bathroom. The outlet box only has 1 black wire and 1 white wire which come down from the top of the box...no other wires are available

If the wiring is BX cable (that is, the two wires are inside a flexible metal jacket that looks like a fat coil spring) (you would see the end of the metal jacket inside the box), and the box is metal, then the box is already grounded and you can install a jumper wire from the box to the ground terminal on the outlet. You might have to add a screw to the box. But if you don't have a grounded box, then the right thing to do is to rewire it all the way back to the main panel. On the other hand, if you simply skip the ground wire, the switch and outlet will work but they will be a little more dangerous than before because now you will have what LOOKS like a grounded outlet, but isn't. By the way, you should be using a ground fault protected outlet in a bathroom.
Good luck, be safe.

Hi my tv not turning on or light up. I check the fuse but it's ok

Have you tried plugging something else into same outlet to be sure wall outlet is still functioning. If that isn't the problem depending on type of TV set there are internal fuses that can only be changed by dealers. Also check your cord to be sure there isn't any wear marks or chew marks from a pet that may have chewed on it

Fan Blows, heater works, NO light on "A/C" Power

Yeah, before you do that, check all your fuses first to make sure there isn't a blown fuse. If all ok then it's time to start looking into the ac control panel. Some panels can be disassembled and a little cleaning can get them working again, just takes a little time, better that $300 to $500 for a new one.

I just bought 2 westek 1 outlet timers tw77dbh for my kids Bearded Dragons. We'll be gone for a few days and it's important that they have 12 hours of the special "day" and...

Hi well IF the clock isn't moving, and one must wait at least say 1/2 hour before one can tell, and IF there is NO movement then there is NO power getting to the drive motor?

Basically it is a Motor that drives a gear train, that makes one full revolution every 24hours, and as you so correctly state, the "pins" control the OFF & ON... again basically these pins "Trip" a "Switch" in the timer.

Most often the timers wiring provides the power to the "Motor' as well as the switched contacts, so ensure it is wired up correctly, if using a wired version, else it simply plugs in to the mains socket and the outlet is switched on & off accordingly...
