When I turn my tv on, the blue light (remote control sensor light) comes on and the tv clicks like it is going to come on. After about 30 seconds, the tv will click again and the blue light will start blinking. No picture or sound comes on. We had it on earlier in the day and it was fine. We came home that afternoon and turned it on and this is what it did. Any ideas what is wrong?

Okay, I found a fix! Called JVC, spoke to somebody there, here it is:
1)unplug the TV completely, no wall no power strips, completely
2)wait 10 sec
3)plug TV back in and Turn it on, the light will still be doing the same thing
4)wait 30 sec
5)ON THE TV, not the remote, locate the menu, volume (-) and power button.
6)while
simultaneously holding down the menu and volume (-) button, pressed the
power button ONCE and continue to hold the other 2 for 10 sec.
7)on the remote control, go to menu>settings>system info
*** now this I know as a FACT will work on systems that display: JVC - ver.5.32FO001, but I don't know of any other versions***
8)press the mute button on the remote twice
9)unplugg TV again and wait 10 sec.
10) plug TV in and turn on

this one, I know it seems like an obvious first place to look, but

My TV only has a power button on the side, its the emerald series. The Blue power light comes on then Dims and no picture. How do you reset it. Dont want to by a new on.
