Hello; As far as your machine shutting off it may need to be re leveled. Some Model,s have A cut off switch built in so when agaitator is spinning it will shut down so there is no more shaking that may break other part,s that are not in line/such as barrings/ seals Etc.Try to level your washer by adjusting the legs in each corner or maybe they could be not adjustable,in this case place A level from corner to corner on the top and have someone slide A piece of shingle under the corner that needs to be brought up so the bubble on your level is in the middle. This is A 2 Person job,if you still have the same issue you may have already broke the seal around the shaft and will need A repair person lets hope not.As far as the leak that may also be caused by it not being level and the door is not making A good seal. Also the seal around the door on A front loading Machine does wear out anyway so you may need to order on in.Be very careful with that leak because it could run back into the electrical components and hurt you very bad or burn out your Machine it is nothing to fool with on A front loading unit. But try to get it level first before you start spending money you may not have to spend. All the best and good luck.

Check you door latch. When you open the door, there should be a black square hole on the frame and a black round hole above it with a pin sticking out. The pin is probably broken off and the door latch assembly needs to be replaced.

Open the door so it is 90degrees from machine, see if it is upright. if not undo the door bolts slightly and re alighn door. Good luck and feel free to give feed back.
