How to change the faceplate on the ti-84 silver edition

TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Assuming you mean a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, yes, I have. Simply pry up the tab at the bottom of the keyboard with a thumbnail and work the faceplate off from the bottom. Put the new one starting at the top and work your way down.

Yes, you can change the faceplate of the TI 84PLUS Silver Edition only, not the TI 84 Plus. Face plates are available for purchase at the TI online store.When you go the online store, select the country, then the calculator model. You will find them under accessories for the TI 84 Plus SE.

Change the battery
