My sanyo pro xtrax multiverse projector comes on fans starts but no light comes on. The bulb has been replaced.

What is the description of the lamp? Braun's current catalog numbers for lamps are 80231 for the 150W 24V and 80232 for the 250W 24V. If you need a different lamp you should bring the old lamp to a camera store and let them look it up from the bulb manufacturers.

Some projectors will not start if you have seriously exceeded the normal life hours of the lamp. If you do not replace your lamp when notified by your projector, the lamp will continue to get so weak that the starting amperage of the ballast will eventually make the lamp explode in the projector. manufacturers don't want you to have to vacuum out bits of glass and mercury from the projector, so they just stop the projector from working until a new lamp is installed.Do you hear a ticking sound of the ballast trying to start the lamp?

for the projector or for the reair? because you can't get parts for it anymore.

if the lamp blew during use, the projector was not able to complete the shut down mode. it will turn on by itself until it does. replace the lamp, let it warm up, and press power to initiate the shut down. after it powers down, reset the lamp timer and turn it on. all should be well.
