My Frigidaire Gallery dryer squeaks and leaves brown crescent burn marks on our laundry items.

I understand that the dryer on your Frigidaire laundry center, model# GLEH1642FS, has burn marks. It sounds like the air flow in your dryer could possibly be blocked. I suggest cleaning out the lint trap, the ducting, and the vent outside. I also suggest cleaning the lint filter, by running it under the hottest water you can handle and a small scrub brush. You should be able to clean the burn marks with a small scrub brush and warm water. ABSOLUTELY! There is a plastic piece in the back that the center ball piece on the back of the drum spins in. Thats your bearing, replace it.

it's most likely the rear bearing that the drum rides on in the rear of dryer,you'll need the model number located around the door opening to order the right part.

turn the start and it's like the drum gets stuck. then starts smelling like burning.

Sounds like it is worn out. Get a parts diagram and take it apart and see what parts are missing or worn out. The belt is probably coming apart and that is the black stuff. There are several plastic wear plates and a bearing/bushing for the drum, plus the belt idler and all these can wear out. The motor could also have a bad bushing in it but more than likely that will require a new motor as they don't usually sell just the bushing or end caps.

Sounds like the bearing is gone, call a repiar man or buy new as repairman 100 per call

Have you had a qualified service man look at your machine? I would think that the burned rubber smell would direct you to examine the belt (found in the very bottom after removal of front cover).
If it is the belt it is a very easy fix on this machine. The not draining part wouldn't be related to the belt the pump that does the draining is driven by its own electric motor and is easily visible when the front cover is off. Its located on the bottom left side. If a sock or other small item manages to get over the side of the basket it always ends up jamming the pump.
You would have to take the pump apart to retrieve the item and restore pump function

it sounds like your thermostat located near the heater check with multimeter

The rear drum support needs replacing.
The front glides and felt seal needs replacing.

The front felt drum seal may be bad. It is attached to the front panel, around the door.
Check and or replace the rear drum support it has worn down the ball and cup support. It will soon begin making a grinding/squealing noise.
When it wears and drops down the gap is greater at the front around the felt seal. Laundry gets caught in the gap and scorches.
