ULine 2175RF Digital Touch Controller not responding.

Unit displays 45 deg. F, but does not respond to any touches. LED above the controls such as On/OFF, up and down temp, and light control do not go on when touched. Light is on. Temp display is on.
Tried cycling power with no luck. Any idems?

    I have a U-line CLRCO2175 with the same problem. Digital touch display shows 40 degrees and none of the other commands work. Refrigerator is cool and ice maker is working just no control over temp or other functions.

Hi
You will need to remove the grill. Unplug the unit, Then on the control board you will see 4 wire with a black connector. Unplug that and plug it in 4 or 5 times. Make sure you dont bend the pins. Then plug the connector back in and plug unit back in. You should have better response on the display. They have a special coating and the pins needs to be cleaned this way.

    Thank you so much Rich Wright! We were having the same problem; this worked; and saved Christmas!

    This worked for me as well. After cleaning the glass, contacts, etc I was getting intermittent response with LEDs blinking at random. After reseating the connector on the control board, the touch panel began responding flawlessly. Thank You!

I lost my manual and I am getting an F22 display. What does this mean?

CCU/Touchpad/LED assembly error(F-22)*

Hi.This error occurs if the touchpad/DED assembly is not able to transmit/receive data to/from the central control unit (CCU)

Check the following:::

A.Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confirm the touch-pad/LED is responding. If the results are negative, move on to the next step.

B.Unplug washer or disconnect power.(Make sure you unplug the unit for 5 minutes, thsi will reset the panel, and restore proper functions if the damage inst severe)

C.Check Wire Harness connectors to the touch-pad/LED assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)

***((Ok, if all fails to revive proper functions above, this will confirm a major issue that concerns the wiring harness that is used to link the touch pad to the CCU))
