In a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 3.5 liter engine and an automatic transmission, the reverse light switch is typically located on the transmission itself. The exact location of the switch will depend on the model and year of your Santa Fe, but it is typically located near the bottom of the transmission, near the output shaft. You may need to consult the vehicle's service manual or contact a Hyundai dealership for detailed instructions on how to locate and access the reverse light switch. It is important to exercise caution when working on your vehicle, as accessing the transmission can be complex and can require specialized tools and knowledge. It is recommended that you have a trained mechanic perform this work for you if you are not confident in your ability to do it safely.
their isnt one ,you will have to drop the sump, best advice i can give is that if its working ok leave well alone ,its a hydraulic oil and it doesnt deteriorate ,now iam not sure here but i think that if you do drain it you could throw a code fault light up ,also their is no filler plug or dip stick either ,it has to go up on a 4 poster lift then its filled with engine running and in reverse ,dealer only job really
