Try the following codes. I know you stated that you were given codes so ignore any that you already have tried:
Verizon FIOS
Vizio 0891, 0912,1783
Alternative Codes
1758, 0178, 1756, 0128, 0117, 1017, 1078, 0030, 0056, 0205, 1292, 0057

I use my Directv remote to change the channel. What you have to do is go the your direct tv remote go to setup then go to remote then look for tv brand Citizen then follow the direction the menu tells you to do. It works fine. You can use Tv Brand Citizen, Concerto, Luxman They work with any u-verse remote 4 digit code 0056 5 digit code 10056

many of the dish remotes have a "scan" option. This is what the installers use. You'll ned to read the manual. Its a one page explanation.
SOURCE: Need remote control code for ATT U-verse
well i have a vizio 32' lcd hdtv and the code 1343 worked for me!! the 922 didnt.....1343
SOURCE: U-verse remote code for a Vizio HDTV
1343 is the closest one I've found that works, it will turn the TV off and on, control the volume, and enables mute. The only other thing it doesn't do is change the video input, I'm still working on finding that. If this helps, please give me some kudos.
Direct Code Entry
1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH
button until the red indicator stays
on, then release the CODE SEARCH
button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode
button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red
indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code
tables. Note: after a valid code entry,
the red indicator turns off. For an
invalid code, the red indicator
flashes.
4. With your device on, press
CHANNEL UP. If the device
responds, no further programming is
required. Note: If some buttons do
not operate your device, try one of
the other codes for your brand.
OK.

code 1434 on the silver AT&T remotes work, but their new black remotes don't work on the Apex digital tv's. Try getting the silver remote from someone else if you don't have one already and then they can use the black remote because AT&T no longer gives out the silver remote controls. Good luck!
Just got an Apex TV and spoke with Tech Support for a LOOONNNGGG time and they never could figure out how to make my remote work with the TV so I had to schedule a Technician to come tomorrow to "fix" it. I decided to "Google" and see if I could figure it out myself. Just wanted to thank you for your information because I happened to have a silver remote and IT WORKED!! Thank you so much!
