I would start looking for a new set, replacement parts for that set are pricey. Trust me, I just recycled a P50HDTV10A that had a busted screen. I couldn't believe what the parts sold for !!! I don't know your preference LCD or PLASMA, but prices have really come down. So if it's in you budget, treat yourself to a new TV !!! Whatever you do, don't just toss the old set in the trash, toss that puppy on Craigslist and If you can get $50-$70 for it, take the money and run !!!
If you have a projection TV, you have likely lost a bulb. Don't worry, it happens from time to time and it's really easy to fix. Just Google the model number of your TV and projection bulb. Sometimes they come as just the bulb or the entire assembly. Purchase the whole assembly if you don't feel comfortable taking things apart. In the back of the TV there is likely a small door that opens (Possibly with a screwdriver), the old assembly will slide out and you just have to replace it with a new one. A bulb can run anywhere from $50 to $120 but it's inevitable that they will burn out like any other bulb. At least they are easy to replace. It's also possible that the sound was a capacitor blowing. This happens more frequently in the summer because there are electrical power fluctuations due to Air Conditioning. You can search Youtube for "Capacitor Explosion" or "Blown Capacitor" to compare the sound. If that's the case it will need a repair. If you know someone who can operate a soldering iron it should be an easy fix. There will be a very obvious blown capacitor on the main board of the TV and it will just need to be swapped with another one. If you're not paying for labor this is going to cost you less than $5 in parts. Google "Badcaps" for instructions on replacement.
Alters the recording start and stop times if a programme starts early, runs late or is rescheduled, so you don't miss it. It's not completely foolproof, however, as it relies on the broadcaster updating the electronic programme guide. If your recorder lets you, it's wise to add a few minutes of extra time to the beginning and end of a recording to stay on the safe side.
Simple answer; no.I don't know where you are but step-down transformers are a pretty common item (some are even reversible) but make sure that the transformer's power rating is adequate for the blender; for example: if the blender is rated at 200 watts or 1.8 amps (roughly the same at 110V) use a transformer rated at least 50% higher to avoid having the output 'sag' under load.
There are usually several micro switches (little metal levers) inside the projection tv - most commonly by the lamp assembly and behind the lamp door.
It's possible either:
a) the lamp is not fully seated into position - ensure the lamp assembly is locked into position and that all screws have been secured, which will correctly close the micro switch.
b) the lamp door is slightly misaligned - ensure the door is aligned properly (do not force it) and all screws MUST be secured into place, which will correctly close the micro switch.
If the above items are in their correct positions, then you may need to test the 'continuity' of the switches (open & closed) using a multimeter, to determine whether you many have a faulty micro switch.
Don't think you understand the technology that has
been on all vehicles for 30 years, that being OBD1
starting in 1980 & the current OBD2 96 thru 2011
Any time you get any check lights etc on your dash your
vehicle has detected a problem
Don't you find that the light is not normal & wouldn't
you want to know why
Read your owners manual
Your car has a problem that you need to first check for
codes,have diagnosed & then repaired
Those are the 3 steps you will be taking at least once
a year for the rest of your life & it will be expensive, if you
don't learn the technology & work on your on car
You have a malfunction in the SRS System (air bag)
& they may even be turned off in case you needed them
You NEVER need a dealer for ANY repairs, but you do
need to go to a local repair shop within a couple of days
ANYTIME you get ANY check lamp,MIL Lamp,Wrench,
etc on your dash.
A car is not like Windows 7 at all
It does not self diagnose & clearing the lights & codes only
prevent further diagnoses
There are NO computers used by your mechanic to do anything
ALL Scan Tools etc are data processors
Your car has no computer as you know them
There are also no tune-ups for 30 years, that is an
industry term for spark plugs & mostly a waste of
your money on other items
